He has extensive experience in rehabilitation services as a former Rehab Director and Continuing Education Instructor, where he provided performance coaching to Physical Therapists across the Midwest. Throughout his career, he has worked with a diverse range of clients, including professional baseball and tennis players, an MLB manager, NFL players, FBI recruits, and individuals preparing for the Navy BUD/S program. Additionally, he has provided triathlon coaching for Ironman Triathletes, Age Group Athletes, and College Track Athletes, helping them recover from sports injuries and enhance their athletic performance.
Physical Therapy Specialties include treatments for sports injuries, dizziness, vestibular dysfunctions, and advanced techniques such as dry needling, cupping, and strain counterstrain. Our rehabilitation services also feature Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesiotape application, and strategies for endurance athletes to optimize their performance coaching while avoiding unnecessary strain.
As a USA Triathlon Certified Coach and Coe College NCAA D3 Volunteer Assistant Triathlon Coach, I am committed to helping athletes excel. I am also a proud member of the APTA: American Physical Therapy Association.
In 2014, Troy began offering triathlon coaching to help athletes enhance their performance. The primary goal is to eliminate struggle. Often, self-coached athletes face challenges to the extent that they lose their passion for the sport. I understand this feeling. A coach can simplify your training journey, strengthening your relationships with your spouse, children, parents, and colleagues while you improve your performance. If you're going to pursue triathlon, do it right. With extensive research behind training methods, we can streamline that information and ensure you train at the optimal intensity. This approach minimizes unnecessary struggle, allowing you to truly enjoy the sport and reduce the risk of sports injuries. Additionally, for those needing physical therapy or rehabilitation services, we can assist in integrating those elements into your training plan.
